Drauden Point Choir Director Will Host St. Paddy's Concert
The showcase, taking place at the Rialto Square Theater in Joliet, will feature 40 local musicians, including Drauden Point students.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Drauden Point Middle School's choir director and music teacher will host a St. Patrick's Day musical showcase March 18.
Tim Placher's showcase, "A Shamrockin' Good Time," will take place at 7:30 p.m. March 18 at Joliet's Rialto Square Theater, 102 N. Chicago St. The concert will feature nearly 40 musicians, including Drauden Point students.
The performance will celebrate the Irish holiday with traditional and contemporary Irish music as well as Irish dancers and pipers. While this showcase isn't Placher's first at the Joliet theater, it is his first Irish-themed show, according to Tom Hernandez, Plainfield School District 202's director of community relations.

Tickets to the concert cost $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 12 and under. Admission can be purchased online, by calling 815-726-6600 or visiting the theater's box office.
