Drumapalooza: High School, Middle School Concert At Plainfield Central

April 27 concert is a chance to play instruments, talk with musicians.

PLAINFIELD, IL – Plainfield High School – Central Campus will celebrate all things percussion at the 2017 Drumapalooza concert at 7 p.m. April 27, in the auditorium of Plainfield Central High School, 24120 Fort Beggs Drive.

Student musicians from PHSCC, as well as and Timber Ridge and John F. Kennedy middle schools, will perform a variety of pieces including drumline music, solos and percussive comedy.

Tickets are $5 and are available online. The PHSCC Band Boosters also will host a raffle and bake sale.

Proceeds will help PHSCC buy new percussion equipment. Some of the school’s current equipment dates to the early 1990s.

A free Percussion Petting Zoo will be before the concert from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Adults and kids can play the instruments, and talk to the directors and performers.
