Eagle Scout Project Helps Train Plainfield K-9

PLAINFIELD, IL — Last week, Joshua Smith from Troop 82 delivered his Eagle Scout project for the Plainfield Police Department. Joshua constructed a scent wall to be utilized as a training tool for K-9 Officer Kody and his handler, Officer Tracy Caliendo.

The tool will be shared with other local police departments to sharpen the K-9 officers' ability to identify drugs and other undesirable chemicals.
