Elementary Drama Club Will Bring Olaf, Elsa To Life With 'Frozen Jr.'
Thomas Jefferson fourth and fifth graders will transport audiences to Arendelle and bring to life beloved "Frozen" characters.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Nearly a decade ago, "Frozen" took the world by storm, cementing itself as a Disney favorite. This weekend, the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School Drama Club will stage "Frozen Jr.," bringing to life beloved characters.
Fourth- and fifth-grade students will transport audiences to the land of Arendelle and into the lives of Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf, everyone's favorite talking snowman who is obsessed with summer. The show follows the character as they try to save Anna's frozen heart and show Elsa that her magic is a gift, not a curse.
The production will take place at Plainfield South High School, 7800 Caton Farm Road. Showtimes will be at 7 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online. The show has a runtime of an hour and 15 minutes, with a 10-minute intermission.
