12th Annual Turkey Drop Collection

Plainfield Moose Lodge members and the Ford Family of Plainfield will seek frozen turkeys to help feed needy families.

The groups hope to exceed last year's collection of 723 birds.

Those who donate a frozen turkey are invited to a free brunch at the lodge.

Donations of non-perishable items for the baskets will also be accepted, along with contributions of cash.

Money collected before Nov. 19 will be used to purchase additional turkeys, so those who want to donate cash should prior to that date. Checks can be made payable to the Plainfield Moose Lodge with the note "turkey drop."

All donations will go to the Plainfield Interfaith Food Pantry, Morning Star Mission and We Care of Romeoville Pantry.
