PLAINFIELD, IL — Lockport Street in Old Town will be closed to through traffic Tuesday while the last of the sanitary sewer lining work will be completed. The work was postponed to start Tuesday due to inclement weather, officials said Monday.

Local traffic, including buses, will be allowed in the closure area during construction but should watch out for the contractor's operations. The road is expected to be reopened by the end of day Tuesday, once work is complete.
