Grand Marshals Announced For Plainfield Hometown Irish Parade
The parade will be led by two grand marshals this year.
PLAINFIELD, IL — With two weeks to go until Plainfield's Hometown Irish Parade, organizers announced who will serve as grand marshal — it's not one, but two people this year.
Margie and Roger Bonuchi will ride in the Hometown Irish Parade on March 15 as grand marshals.
In an interview with the Village Preservation Association, the organizer of the parade, the couple said they like the small-town feel of Plainfield. Both grew up in Chicago and have been residents of Plainfield since 1995, when the pair were newlyweds.
