Naperville Road Over Tracks In Downtown Plainfield To Close To Traffic

PLAINFIELD, IL — Naperville Road crossing over the Canadian National rail in downtown Plainfield is expected to close for about a week due to construction.

No traffic will be allowed on the portion of the road beginning Monday, officials said. Crews will be completing rail work at the crossing as well as pavement work on Naperville Road.

A north and southbound detour will be in place using Route 59 135th Street. Naperville Road from the construction site to 135th Street will be open to local traffic only, according to a detour map.
