Nemesis Swart Accused Of Hitting Girlfriend With Belt, Damaging Squad Car

An emergency order of protection was also filed against him.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A Plainfield man is charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and felony damage to government property in connection with a Sept. 27 altercation. According to the Will County Sheriff's Office, Nemesis Swart, 25, of the 14000 block of Oregon Drive in the Lakewood Falls subdivision, remained in custody on $10,000 bond on Monday.

A woman who lives at the same Oregon Drive address filed an emergency order of protection against Swart on Thursday, according to court records.

A Will County Sheriff's lieutenant told the Herald-News that Swart allegedly beat his girlfriend with a beltduring a domestic dispute. Once taken into custody, Swart damaged a sheriff's department squad car by banging his head against it, police said.

A hearing on the order of protection is set for Oct. 19. Swart is also due in court Oct. 20 in connection with the domestic battery and property damage charges, according to jail records.
