New Facilities Director Joins D202 From Lemont Park District
The new director of facilities said he is looking forward to working with the district where his children also attend school.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A new director of facilities joined the Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 family, coming over from the Lemont Park District.
The Board of Education approved Jason Khuen's hiring at its regular meeting Oct. 11.
Khuen most recently served as the director of maintenance and planning at the Lemont Park District, a role he began to hold in January 2022. Before that, he worked as the district's assistant manager of maintenance and its aquatics director.

The new director of facilities, who also owns an event management company, said he is looking forward to working with the district where his children also attend school.
"I look forward to helping the district grow and evolve for many years to come," Khuen said in a statement. "I am a huge fan of Plainfield and look forward to being a part of a great school district."

Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations Richard Engstrom said Khuen brings a variety of facilities experience to District 202.
"Jason is a respected leader within the Lemont Park District who will help guide the district in the right direction," Engstrom said in a statement. "The district is excited to have such a well-rounded individual in this role."
