New iPhone App Provides Plainfield ER Wait Times

If you need to get to a local emergency room but loathe the idea of cooling your heels in a waiting room, the solution may be as close as your iPhone.

Edward Hospital has introduced a new app that will not only tell you the waiting times for its and Naperville but for its immediate care locations in Bolingbrook and Oswego as well. 

The app can be downloaded to an iPhone, iPod touch and iPad by going to www.edward.org/erwaittimes and clicking on the Edward ER app icon or by searching “Edward ER” in the App Store.

If you don't have access to the app, patients can also text, click or call to find out how quickly they’ll receive treatment:

• Click: www.edward.org (check the ER wait time box in the upper right corner of the home page)

Edward offers 24/7 emergency services, including a Kids’ ER, at Edward Hospital in Naperville, 801 S. Washington St., and on its at 127th Street and Van Dyke Road.

The hospital's nonemergency immediate care facilities are at 130 N. Weber Road in Bolingbrook and at Route 34 and Orchard Road in Oswego. The weekend Edward Medical Group Walk-In Clinic is at 15905 Frederick St. in Plainfield.
