PLAINFIELD, IL — Nominations are open for the 32nd annual Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 Board of Education's Awards of Excellence.
Each year, teachers and non-administrative staff are honored for their exceptional work on behalf of students and in support of District 202. Since the award's inception in 1993, the Board has honored more than 500 teachers and staff.
Students, staff, parents and community members are encouraged to submit their nominations before the deadline at 5 p.m. March 4. Past nominees and recipients can be nominated again.

A Board committee will review all nominations to choose this year's recipients. To honor winners, the Board will host an awards ceremony at 7 p.m. April 2 at Plainfield East High School, 12001 S. Naperville Road.
