Dorrestein, Michigan's fifth-year senior starter at right tackle, helped the Wolverines control the line of scrimmage for much of the day. Michigan rushed for 288 yards against the Irish.
Heading into Saturday's game against UMass, the Wolverines rank seventh nationally in rushing, thanks in no small part to Dorrestein's work up front and the emergence of sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson. Kickoff is at 11:01 a.m. (CDT) in Ann Arbor.
