Plainfield American Legion Opens to Public on Thursday
You don't have to be a member any longer to enjoy the local watering hole; a grand opening is set for Saturday, Nov. 3.
The Plainfield American Legion Marne Post 13 will open its doors to non-members starting at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1.
Located at Renwick and River roads, the establishment will be open to the public at 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and at noon on Sundays.
To mark the occasion, the Plainfield post will host a grand opening celebration at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, featuring pizza, wings and an "antifreeze" drink special.
