Plainfield Central High School Sophomore football player, Chris Gore, received the very prestigious invite to Football University's Top Gun
Plainfield Central High School Sophomore football player, Chris Gore, has received the very prestigious invite to Football University’s Top Gun High School Showcase, which will take place on July 16-18, 2015 at Dublin Jerome High School in Dublin, Ohio and will play host to some of the nation’s top high school football prospects.
Football University’s Top Gun Camp is an invitation-only camp attracting the top 1,500 prep and youth football players from actoss the United States. From the creators of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl comes a one-of-a-kind football camp. A training experience exclusively for the nation’s most elite youth and high school players. Football University (FBU) camp experience focuses on intense position-specific technique training taught by our expert faculty of former and current NFL coaches who have a passion for sharing this experience with young athletes.
Chris attended the FBU Chicago football camp this past weekend and impressed his linebacker coaches with his football skill & knowledge, as well as, his coach-ability & leadership. Because of his performance on the field & in the classroom at the event he received the Top Gun invitation below:

Your technical ability and football IQ displayed at the Chicago Regional Camp has earned you this opportunity to compete against the best high school football players, continue to work with FBU’s most elite coaches, and gain additional national exposure.
Chris has been training 6-7 days a week in the off-season doing speed, plyometrics and power classes at Acceleration Sports Performance in Naperville. He has also been doing weight lifting at Five Star Fitness in Joliet. This determination, perseverance and dedication has enabled him to raise his game to the next level. His goal is to continue to play linebacker at Plainfield Central the next 3 years and then to play football at the college level. The invite to FBU’s Top Gun Showcase brings him one step closer. NCSA Athletic Recruiting will help make that dream a reality!
