Candidates can also send their resumes, along with salary requirements and three professional references, to resumes@plainfieldchamber.com.
Collins’ resignation, effective March 1, came 20 years after she first joined the chamber.
"The time has come for me to say goodbye to this chapter in my life. I have two daughters who both live out of state but who are only an hour away by plane,” she said in a press release. “I plan to spend more time with them and my three grandchildren. My husband retired a year ago and we would like to do some traveling."
Collins also has a new role as a recently elected Will County Board member.
