Plainfield East Grad's Killing: 3 Area Teenagers Face Murder Charges
Imari Bloodson is now the third person captured by Plainfield police in connection with the deadly shooting of Anthony Saucedo, age 19.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A total of three Joliet area teenagers, including two members of the Woods family, are now behind bars at the Will County Jail facing first-degree murder charges in connection with the June 15, 2022, killing of 19-year-old Plainfield resident Anthony Raul Saucedo.
On June 22, Joliet Patch broke the news revealing that Plainfield police had a break in the unsolved murder investigation with the arrest of Damarian Woods, now 18, who lives in the Plainfield area on Meadowbrook Street. Woods' bail was put at $5 million.
Since then, Amarion Woods, age 19, of the 300 block of Joliet's Peale Street, was captured on June 23 by Plainfield police and his bail is $2.5 million.

Then, last Thursday night, June 29, Imari Bloodson was captured by Plainfield police. Bloodson's bail is $2.5 million and comes from Raleigh Trail in Romeoville.
All three co-defendants are charged with three counts of first-degree murder, plus Bloodson faces a fourth charge, possession of a stolen gun.

The criminal complaint states that Bloodson had a Heckler & Koch 9 mm semi-automatic pistol that was used in the Plainfield parking lot shooting. Last summer, Saucedo's body was discovered outside the Prairie Activity and Recreation Center, at 24550 W. Renwick Road.
"Anthony grew up in Plainfield and was a 2021 graduate of Plainfield East High School. He lived for playing soccer," his obituary from Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services noted. "Some of his favorite memories included shooting the soccer ball under the Eiffel Tower and visiting Camp Nou in Barcelona. He could also be considered a Fighting Illini Super Fan. He was sad to see Lovie Smith leave the football team but embraced Coach Bielema.
