Plainfield East To Host Art Camp For Local Youth
Proceeds from the Summer Art Studio camp will benefit Plainfield East's National Art Honor Society Scholarship.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Children ages 4 through 13 will have the chance to work with multiple art forms during a four-day art camp this summer at Plainfield East High School.
The art department will hold its annual Summer Art Studio program from June 24-27. Students will learn techniques in ceramics, drawing, painting and mixed media and will get to keep any artwork they make,
Morning and afternoon sessions — one from 9-11 a.m. and another from 1-3 p.m. — will be held each day. Students can sign up for either session in one of three groups: ages 4-6, 7-9, and 10-13.

The same material is taught in both morning and afternoon sessions.
Admission costs $100 to cover supplies and t-shirts. Proceeds will benefit Plainfield East's National Art Honor Society Scholarship.
