Plainfield K9 Accepts 'Lip Sync Challenge'

Romeoville police dog Spike issued a friendly challenge to Kody of the Plainfield Police Department.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Days after Romeoville's police dog, Spike, was caught on camera woofing along to "Who Let The Dogs Out," the Plainfield Police Department accepted the pooch's "lip sync challenge." On Monday, Plainfield police issued a response video featuring K9 Kody and handler, Officer Tracy Caliendo.

While he wasn't quite ready to "sing" along, Kody had the rock-star look down in a pair of shades as Yello's "Oh Yeah" played in the background.

"He's still fine-tuning his vocals, but he's got the look perfected," police said. "K9 Kody trying to stay 'cool' at the Plainfield Police K9 Memorial."
