Plainfield Man Found Dead In Resort Parking Lot: Police

The Plainfield man had some apparent injuries to his upper body, which indicate he may have been hit by a vehicle, police said.

ST. CHARLES, IL -- The St. Charles Police Department is investigating the death of a 61-year-old Plainfield man who was found dead in the parking lot of Pheasant Run Resort Thursday night. The man, who has been identified as Earl K. Hagen, was located in the lot at 4051 E. Main Street at 9:20 p.m., according to a news release from the St. Charles Police Department. When police and fire crews arrived at the scene, Hagen was already dead, authorities said.

Hagen had some apparent injuries to his upper body, which indicate he may have been hit by a vehicle, police said Friday.

The DuPage County Coroner's Office was called to the scene.

The St. Charles Police Department is working with the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office and the
DuPage County Coroner’s Office to investigate the circumstances of the death.
