Plainfield North, Plainfield East Headed to the Playoffs

The Tigers and the Bengals are both headed into the post-season.

Two of Plainfield’s four football teams finished the regular season and are getting ready to face off in the playoffs.

Plainfield East, the No. 8 seed, hosts No, 9 St. Rita at 7 p.m. Friday, while No. 12 seed Plainfield North is at No. 5 Normal Community at 5 p.m. Saturday.

North is back from a one-year absence from the playoffs by defeating Minooka 60-20 last week.
