Commissioners voted to hire former Worth Park District Director Carlo Capalbo last month.

New Plainfield Park District Executive Director Carlo Capalbo is expected to attend his first-ever park board meeting, set for 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Heritage Professional Center, 24023 W. Lockport St.
Agenda items include a presentation on the DuPage River Trail Bridge project from Engineering Resource Associates, a discussion on the use of the Heritage Professional Center with owner Carl Bryant and a review of the Plainfield Township Senior Center agreement.
Capalbo started his new job this month after being selected in a 3-0 vote, with two board members abstaining, as the director at the Aug. 13 park board meeting.
