The $5.8 million project is nearly complete.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The new Plainfield park-n-ride, a $5.8 million project completed through a partnership with Pace, is slated to open soon. The Village of Plainfield announced the park-n-ride, located at 14740 Depot Drive, east of Van Dyke Road and south of 143rd Street, will open on Aug. 13.
The new location will serve routes 755 and 855. Once it's open, service to Larry's Diner and Village Hall will be discontinued, the village said.
A groundbreaking for the project was in November 2017.
