Plainfield Teen Finishes Eighth at Figure Skating Nationals
15-year-old Paige Rydberg is a U.S. Olympic team hopeful.
Romeoville High School freshman Paige Rydberg finished eighth overall in the Junior Ladies division at the United States Figure Skating Association’s national championships in Greensboro, NC, on Friday.
The 15-year-old was the runnerup to overall winner Bradie Tennell in the short program with a 53.34 total.
Rydberg finished ninth in free skate with a total of 80.65 for an overall total of 133.99
