Raining Wonderful, Adoptable Cats and Dogs from Help Save Pets
With the skies so gloomy, why not cheer life up with a good dog or cat as a new best friend, rain or shine? HSP can help you with that!
This time, HSP is putting into the spotlight for adoption a gorgeous kitten with a great story to tell, named "Stuckey" (and, he can tell you why!). But, there's also someone special to consider for dog lovers: Moose, a great big well-trained love of a dog who knows how to make the people he's with smile! Here are the details for Stuckey and Moose, and, please read down to end of story for info on how YOU can help save pets' lives by fostering cats or dogs!
"Hi, I'm Stuckey! Maybe you've seen my story on the Help Save Pets Facebook page. I'm the kitten that was stuck in an exhaust pipe and a good Samaritan heard me crying and greased me all up and got me out. Then they called Help Save Pets who came and said they would find me a nice home. Everyone was really surprised at how sweet I am seeing as how I didn't have a family. And I heard them say I was cute too with my fluffy Tabby coat. So if you're looking for a cute, sweet kitten here I am!" You can meet Stuckey and other great pets at the Animal Care Center in Shorewood.
Now, Moose will let us tell you about him: Moose is a very handsome Lab/Mastiff mix and weighs about 70lbs. We think he is about 7 years old, but he has the heart of a pup, and he is SMART. Moose knows how to sit, give paw and loves to play ball. So much so that, believe it or not, after our last game of fetch he put . . . his ball back in the toy box! No one at HSP can understand why he hasn't found his "furever" home yet. Did I mention he kisses on command too? Come meet this loving goofball! You can meet Moose and other great pets at the Animal Care Center of Plainfield.

And, as always but especially during the spring and summer seasons, FOSTER HOMES ARE GREATLY NEEDED FOR PETS!
These are all, of course, wonderful animals who just need a little love and care to be ready for adoption and the more of that they can receive in a temporary, loving home vs. in a shelter facility, the better. Please seriously consider becoming a foster, for dogs or cats, special needs or not.
Contact HSP at 815-436-2700 or email the Foster Coordinator directly, and find out how you can help or how they can help you to find that special new family member. And, as always, check them out on the web, on Facebook, and Instagram, too.
