Route 59 Water Leak Causes Low Water Pressure For These Plainfield Subdivisions
The village issued a boil order Thursday morning out of an abundance of caution.
PLAINFIELD, IL — The Village of Plainfield issued a boil order Thursday morning after staff found a water leak on Route 59, according to staff.
Staff found a water leak near 13242 Route 59, a shopping center just north of 135th Street populated by a spa, dental office and Hindu temple. The leak has caused low water pressure in the area, the Plainfield Police Department and Public Works Department said in a Facebook post at 8:26 a.m.

The village implemented the boil order out of an abundance of caution.
"If you are experiencing low pressure, you are impacted by the boil order," public works staff said.
