Sheriff To Participate In Polar Plunge Helping Special Olympics

KANE COUNTY, IL — Kane County Sheriff Ron Hain, among others from his department, will participate in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics March 6.
The Kane County Sheriff's Office will join other agencies at the Maple Park Fire Department, 305 S. County Line Road, at 1 p.m. Money raised at the event will provide year-round sports training and competition for Special Olympics athletes.

At the event, there will be refreshments from Soul Loco, polar plunge swag, Special Olympic apparel and a 50/50 raffle, with all proceeds going toward Special Olympics.
