'Shrek The Musical' Cast Meet-And-Greet Planned At Plainfield East HS
Participants should expect a morning of "fun ... activities, crafts and photo opportunities" with the cast of "Shrek The Musical."
PLAINFIELD, IL — Theater-goers will have a chance to meet Plainfield East High School's cast of "Shrek The Musical" during a meet-and-greet event March 25.
Taking place in the high school's cafeteria from 10 a.m. to noon, visitors can meet Shrek and his friends for a morning of activities, crafts and photo opportunities, District 202 officials announced.
The event is scheduled to happen during the weekend of "Shrek The Musical" performances at the high school, 12001 S. Naperville Road. The musical, based on the Oscar-winning fairy tale adventure, will show at 7 p.m. March 23-25 and at 2 p.m. March 26.

Plainfield East's production will bring all of the movie's beloved characters to life on the stage. It'll be "irreverently fun for the whole family," district officials said.
Meet-and-greet tickets, for $5, can be purchased online. Advance admission to the shows costs $7 for adults and $5 for students, staff and senior citizens. At the door, ticket types will each increase by $1.
