PLAINFIELD, IL — As Plainfield School District 202 students returned to in-person learning following Wednesday's snowstorm, officials warned families of possible delays and cancellations for district-wide bus routes.

In an update at 1:15 p.m., officials said all District 202 bus routes are covered and are expected to transport students home from school Thursday afternoon.

"Please allow for slight delays that may result from road conditions," reads an updated message.

Any chances that may occur with transportation will be communicated from specific schools.

Due to the transportation issues, Hernandez asked parents Thursday morning to make alternate arrangements or drive their kids to school if possible.
