The Village of Plainfield is pleased to announce that Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services upgraded the Village’s water and sewer revenue bond ratings to AA+ this week. Like the upgrades from Moody’s earlier this week, this is the third upgrade from Standard & Poor’s in recent years and is a result of the sound fiscal management policies and practices that the village has in place.

This week’s rating upgrades will result in an estimated cost savings of $890,000 for the village.
