Troy Middle School Takes First at Academic Bowl
The eighth grade team took first place with 198 points and the seventh grade team took first place with 168 points.

The Troy Middle School Academic Bowl teams took first place at the Providence Catholic High School Academic Bowl earlier this month. Team sponsor, TMS science teacher Dr. Barbara Will-Henn, said both the seventh and eighth grade teams did an outstanding job at the event.

The eighth grade team took first place with 198 points scored and the seventh grade team took first place with 168 points scored.
Several TMS team members also took home individual honors, as well. Eighth graders Mary Dixon placed first in language arts, Snehal Saini placed first in social studies, Imaad Junaidi placed first in math, Summit Kumar placed second in math, Frank Sklar placed second in science, Alyssa Conde took second place in language arts and Mackenzie Kaluza placed fifth in language arts.

On the seventh grade team, Tabitha Barowsky placed first in math, Julianna Crompton placed first in science and Julie Wang placed fifth in math.
