Winter Storm Snowfall Totals For Will County

Some areas got close to a foot of snow — and the storm isn't over yet.

PLAINFIELD, IL — By Friday afternoon, Plainfield topped Will County in terms of snowfall, with 10.3 inches of the white stuff. Some areas — like Lemont — got a full foot of snow or more, with Palos Hills taking the top spot at 13 inches of snow. With a winter storm warning still in effect until 6 p.m. and more snow in Saturday's forecast, the numbers will continue to climb.

Here's a look at how much snow area towns have gotten so far, according to the National Weather Service:

  • Joliet, 12.2 inches
  • Plainfield 10.3 inches
  • Romeoville, 9.5 inches
  • Naperville, 8 inches
  • Bolingbrook, 10.4 inches
