Yumz to Crown Frozen Yogurt King, Queen This Tuesday

The gourmet frozen yogurt chain is sponsoring a fro-yo eating contest at locations including Plainfield.

Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt, the Chicago-based self-serve frozen yogurt franchise, will crown the customer who can eat the most frozen yogurt the king or queen of Yumz.

From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, customers are invited to compete for the royal title, crown, T-shirt and gift certificate for one free cup of frozen yogurt.

All seven Yumz locations, including the Plainfield franchise at 12720 S. Route 59, will announce one king and one queen by the end of the day.

According to Yumz, participants must eat all of the frozen yogurt in-store without help from friends and show store staff the empty cup. Multiple cups/servings of frozen yogurt are allowed, but it’s not necessary to include toppings.
