Rockford University Announces $1.2M In Campus Improvements

Dozens of projects are underway at Rockford University as officials announced $1.2 million in campus improvements.

ROCKFORD, IL — Rockford University announced just over $1 million in campus improvements on Monday. WTVO/WQRF reported more than 60 projects are currently happening with most of the work happening before students return to campus in early August. The university plans on using $600,000 of the $1.2 million of residence hall updates, according to the news report.

Additional renovations to classrooms, campus grounds, residence halls and student lounges will continue into the fall.

WTVO/WQRF reported the current construction isn't impacting summer happenings throughout campus.
