Rockford Woman Charged With Home Invasion: Police
Police say the victim inside the home suffered minor injuries.

ROSCOE, IL — A Rockford woman has been charged with home invasion after police say they responded to a report of battery in the 5500 block of Andrews Drive Tuesday in Roscoe. Roscoe Police Department officials reported that upon arrival they discovered a suspect had entered the victim's house and physically assaulted them before leaving the scene.
Roscoe Police Department officials say they were able to locate and identify the suspect, 27-year-old Rebecca Whelan, of Rockford, who has been charged with one count of home invasion.
