• Hononegah announces football coach Brian Zimmerman will retire after this coming season (mystateline.com) — Hononegah head football coach and Rockton alum Brian Zimmerman will retire after this coming season, wrapping up an 11-year run that produced five NIC-10 titles and ten playoff appearances. The school plans an alumni celebration following the October 9 home game against Boylan at the Rockton American Legion. Rockton fans and former players will have a chance to honor his legacy together.
