Join the Northwest Concert Band for our 2026 free Summer Concert series. We continue to celebrate America’s 250th birthday by focusing on American composers during our four summer concerts. Come relax and enjoy warm summer evenings with us at our Monday night summer concert series!
Monday, June 15 at 7:30pm– Broadway
Imagine yourself at a Broadway musical as we play medleys from some of your favorites, including Phantom of the Opera, Cats, and New York New York. Enjoy an arrangement of some of George Gershwin’s most recognizable tunes including “I Got Rhythm”, “Embraceable You”, and “Someone to Watch Over Me”.
Monday, June 29 at 7:30pm– Patriotic
Days before our country’s 250th birthday, fill your heart with patriotic music such as “American Salute” by Morton Gould and “Commando March” by Samuel Barker. And what celebration of America’s birthday would be complete without a rousing performance of Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever”!
Monday, July 13 at 7:30pm– Adventures
Our third summer concert features music from Hollywood’s adventure movies. Immerse yourself in the story of some of your favorite heroes while we play selections from “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Mutiny on the Bounty”, “Far and Away”, and more.
Monday, July 27 at 7:30pm – Space
America returned to space in 2026 with Artemis II, marking the first time humans traveled around the moon in more than half a century. We honor this achievement by playing “Highlights from Star Trek – the Motion Picture”, “Selections from E.T.”, “Moon Symphony” by our very own Randy Steinberg, and more.
All concerts are free and take place at the Community Church of Rolling Meadows, 2720 Kirchoff Rd, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.
NOTE: Bring chairs to the Monday night concerts. Our summer concerts take place outside. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be cancelled.
