20 Cars Burglarized In One Night In Romeoville: Police
Three men were arrested at a nearby hotel with some of the stolen loot, cops said.

ROMEOVILLE, IL -- Three men were arrested last week after roughly 20 vehicles were burglarized in Romeoville overnight. Deputy Chief Ken Kroll said police received multiple reports from homeowners near the 700 block of Farragut Avenue between 5:14 and 7 a.m. April 19 reporting items stolen from their vehicles. All of the burglaries involved unlocked cars, Kroll said.
Police received a report of a suspicious subject and were able to track three suspects to a nearby hotel. Kroll said most of the stolen items -- ranging form stereo equipment to cash -- were found in the hotel room.

Randall Bittings, 24, of 2007 Oakdale Estates Drive in Plainfield and Joseph Crow, 21, of the 1321 Portsmouth Ave. in Westchester, were arrested on charges of burglary. Dakari Williams, 20, of 3105 Arborsedge Drive in Joliet, was also charged with burglary, as well as obstructing justice/destroying evidence, police said.
