3 Plainfield Men Arrested in Oswego on Attempted Burglary Charges
A Chicago man was also arrested in connection with the incident.

Four men have been charged with attempted residential burglary after Oswego police responded to a call of attempted forced entry to a residence on Chapin Way in the Prescott Mill Subdivision.
According to a release from the Oswego Police Department, the incident was reported at around 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18. Police learned there were men traveling in a dark colored vehicle. At around 12:20 p.m. police received another call from a resident on Charismatic Drive in the Churchill Club subdivision. The resident said a man rang the doorbell asking about an address that was not in the proximity of his location. The resident described the same vehicle that was reported earlier.
Officers found the described vehicle and talked with the four men in it. All four men were brought to the police department and interviewed.

Police arrested Kendall R. Parker, 18, of the 13000 block of Kittyhawk Ct. in Plainfield, Christian A. Echols, 18, of the 21000 block of Inverness Dr. in Plainfield, Grantham J. Williams, 19, of the 22000 block of W. Odessa Ct. in Plainfield and Robert C. Pannell, 18, of the 2000 block of E. 71st St. in Chicago on charges of attempted residential burglary, a class 2 felony. Parker was also arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Will County.
The men were taken to the Kendall County Jail and are awaiting a bond hearing. Additional charges may be forthcoming.

Police determined that similar incidents have occurred in surrounding areas and are working with those agencies.
