30th Annual Harvest Saturday Food Drive Coming Nov. 18
Volunteers will pick up donations outside residents' front doors in certain Romeoville neighborhoods.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — Several Romeoville churches will host the Northern Will County 30th annual Harvest Saturday food drive on Nov. 18.
The event, sponsored by St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, The Church at High Point, United Presbyterian Church and The Rock Church, allows residents to put donations outside their front door by 10 a.m. Nov. 18, to be picked up by volunteers.
According to event organizers, volunteers will pick up the items from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 18. You can also drop off items at St. Andrew's, at 219 Arlington Drive, in Romeoville, on that day.

Volunteers will pick up donations from College View, Christine subdivision, Mikan subdivision, Honey Tree and all of Lakewood Falls, according to event organizers.
If you aren't available on Nov. 18, or don't live in the pick-up areas, residents may also drop off donations at drop-off boxes in the church hallway, from Nov. 12 to Nov. 17.

Suggested items for donations include: stuffing mix, pancake mix, syrup, macaroni and cheese, cereal, spaghetti sauce, pasta, rice, pudding, soups, fish, baked beans, canned meat, pasta meals, canned fruits, canned vegetables, hot cocoa mix, peanut butter, baby wipes, tea, coffee, jelly, diapers, toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning wipes.
Monetary donations are also accepted.
