5 Arrested After Kohl's Clothes Theft In Romeoville: Police

Two women face burglary charges.

ROMEOVILLE, IL -- Two teens were charged with burglary after a clothing heist Friday night at the Romeoville Kohl's store, police said. A total of five people, including three juveniles, are accused of stealing a total of $933 worth of clothing from the Weber Road store. The alleged thieves were arrested just before 9 p.m. Friday.

Jasmine Harper, of 3710 Douglas in Chicago and Shatavia Welborne, of 1438 Circle Ave. in Forest Park, both 18, were charged with burglary. Welborne was also charged with obstructing identification, police said.

Three juveniles were also arrested in connection with the incident, according to Romeoville police.
