For the fifth year in a row, representatives of Romeoville Mobil at 135th Street and Illinois Route 53 have donated $500 to math and science programs in Valley View School District 365U. The grant was made possible through the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program.
This year’s recipient, Lukancic Middle School, will use the money to help fund STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities.

“Good education is a necessary tool for the future of our children,” said Mohammed V. Qurashi, Owner and President of Romeoville Mobil at 135th and Rt. 53. “We maintain our educational alliance with Valley View to help the students in our local schools as they prepare for college.”
ExxonMobil’s Educational Alliance Program has awarded millions of dollars in grants in the past year alone. The program is designed to provide Exxon and Mobil dealers like Romeoville Mobil with an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through grants to neighborhood schools.
