$50K Powerball Ticket Sold at Romeoville Store

It's not the jackpot, but it's certainly a good start.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A Romeoville store sold a $50,000 Powerball ticket in the Jan. 13 drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The ticket was purchased at Romeoville BP, located at 418 N Weber Rd. The store will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Illinois Lottery players have one year from the drawing date to claim their Powerball prizes.

The Powerball jackpot is currently on the rise again after no one won in the Saturday drawing. Jackpots begin at $40 million dollars. The jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing currently sits at $50 million.
