Art Created by Romeoville Students to be on Display

The JJC Art Exhibit will be available for viewing between Nov. 19 and Dec. 11.

Bolingbrook High School senior Kaitlan Madsen is among 22 students who will receive the Joliet Junior College Area High School Art Exhibition Award of Excellence in ceremonies Nov. 19.

Madsen’s earthenware clay creation “Aboulia” will be on display at JJC’s Joliet Campus along with 101 other works of art from Nov. 19 to Dec. 11.

Art created by five Romeoville High School students will also be on display in the exhibition: Marie De La Fuenter (Happy House—Mixed Media), Alexis Giganti (Paradise in Yellow—Digital), Jessica Shaw (Dragon Hatching—Ceramics), Vicky Zuchara (Untitled—Ceramics) and Stephanie Zurita (Tea Leaf Tea Pot, Ceramics).
