Aurora Cousins Appear in Court in IS Case
Prosecutors will start turning over evidence to lawyers for the pair.

Prosecutors will soon start turning over evidence to lawyers for two Aurora cousins accused of plotting terrorist attacks to support Islamic State, the Associated Press reports.
Cousins Hasan Edmonds, 22, and Jonas Edmonds, 29, both appeared in court Wednesday but neither spoke.

Prosecutor Barry Jonas told Judge John Lee that prosecutors should be able to hand over most of the evidence within two months.
A complaint says Jonas planned to attack (Joliet National Guard Armory) while Hasan, who belonged to the Illinois Army National Guard, would join Islamic State fighters.

Both Edmonds and Hasan have pleaded not guilty. They were arrested in March.
