Battery, Reckless Driving, Retail Theft: Romeoville Blotter

Incidents occurred between Oct. 24 and Nov. 9.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty.

Oct. 24

Elias Milton, 18, of the 150 block in Romeoville, was charged with possession of cannabis. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Azalea Circle.

Michael Lipscomb, 18, of the 21400 block in Plainfield, was charged with possession of cannabis. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Azalea Circle.

A residential burglary was reported in the 200 block of Violet Dr. Someone damaged a door of the residence to gain access. It appears at this time nothing was taken from the residence.

A residential burglary was reported in the 600 block of Lynn. Someone entered the residence and took a gaming console and video games from the residence. Total estimated value of the items taken is $470.

Nov. 1

Michael Schmidt, 24, of the 200 block of Haller in Romeoville, was charged with battery. The incident occurred at the same location.

Jose Pantoja, 50, of the 300 block of Fairfax in Romeoville, was picked up on an in-state warrant at the same location.

Nov. 3

Jovan Guy, 18, of the 600 block of Jordan, was charged with reckless driving and illegal squealing of tires. The incident occurred on Fairfax north of Murphy.

Sandra Johnson, 29, of the 1300 block of Alder Creek Dr. in Romeoville, was charged with retail theft. The incident occurred in the 400 block of S. Weber Rd.

Nov. 4

A burglary was reported in the 100 block of North Independence. Someone damaged three tool boxes and stole several tools. The items are valued at $6,928.

Nov. 5

A theft over $500 was reported in the 300 block of McKool. Someone took an air conditioner compressor valued at $1000.00 from the yard of the residence.

Nov. 6

Ashley Rutherford, 27, of the 700 block of Yates in Romeoville, was charged with disorderly conduct stemming from an incident in the 0-100 block of Elgin.

Nov. 7

Martin Sakutis, 18, of the 200 block of W. Savannah in Romeoville, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment.

A criminal damage to property was reported in the 200 block of Highpoint Drive. Someone punctured four tires on a vehicle that was in the parking lot. Estimated cost to replace the tires is $500.

Nov. 9

A theft under $500 was reported in the 0-100 block of Beacon. Someone took a package containing a cell phone valued at $460 that had been left on the porch of the residence.
