Battery, Unlawful Use Of Weapon: Romeoville Arrests

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Police Department made a series of arrests over the past week, charging local residents with a variety of crimes.
Criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and all suspects defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Curtis Herbert, 40, of Romeoville, was charged with domestic battery at 1:20 a.m. on Aug. 13 in the 1100 block of Normantown. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Thomas Saddler, 52, of Romeoville, was charged with domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence at 3:58 p.m. on Aug. 13 in the 200 block of Lilac Drive. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Donnie Jones, 49, of Lockport, was charged with battery and criminal damage to property at 1:32 p.m. on Aug. 14 in the 1000 block of West Romeo Road. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Mark Born, 49, of Romeoville, was charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon at 7:01 p.m. Aug. 18 in the 300 block of Haller. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Osvaldo Rivera, 29, of Plainfield, was charged with suspended registration, DUI, three counts of disobeying a stop sign, improper lane use, failure to reduce speed, leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury, failure to report accident, leaving scene of an accident with vehicle damage, failure to give aid or information, driving while license revoked, no insurance, reckless driving, illegal transportation of alcohol, aggravated fleeing and eluding two or more traffic devices at 2:24 p.m. Aug. 19 at Arlington and Montrose. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Delueshurn Rounds II, 22, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of weapon/vehicle, failure to signal, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance and expired registration at 9:33 p.m. Aug. 24 at Weber and Remington. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
