Hunters, make sure you remember these important dates:
Nov. 18th- Opening Day of Illinois firearm deer season. The 7-day season dates are Nov 18-20 and Dec 1-4. Only in counties open for firearm season.
Nov. 28th- Last day to apply for Illinois Late Winter Antlerless-only Deer Permit. Special hunt areas will require a site-specific permit- apply online here. This hunt is only available in certain counties, check which ones here.

Dec. 1st- Wild Turkey permit applications are due! Deadline for the 1st draw (Illinois residents) If you want to hunt for a butterball somewhere other than the grocery store this spring, apply online here.
Dec. 13th- Last day of the 2011 Illinois Duck Season (Northern Zone).
Jan. 7th, 2012 - Last day of the 2011-12 Goose Season (Northern Zone).
