Bryan Brusaw Charged With Eighth Offense Drunken Driving
A Will County grand jury recently handed up an indictment after Brusaw's recent DUI arrest at Normantown Road.

A 57-year-old man who lives in Springfield remains detained at the Will County jail in downtown Joliet after being arrested for his eighth drunken driving offense, according to court documents. According to the recent grand jury bill of indictment, Bryan N. Brusaw, 2200 block of Old Jacksonsville Road, was arrested on September 3 at Normantown Road in Romeoville. Brusaw is charged with two felonies, aggravated driving under the influence and driving on a revoked or suspended license.
According to the indictment, Brusaw was driving a 2000 Ford Windstar when he was stopped by Romeoville police officers. Court records show that Brusaw's previous DUI citations are as follows:
- April 14, 1992 Kane County
- August 1, 1992 DuPage County
- January 23, 1994 Cook County
- February 13, 1994 Cook County
- May 11, 1996 DuPage County
- February 5, 2006 DuPage County
- July 11, 2010 DuPage County
Brusaw is scheduled for an arraignment Friday at the Will County Courthouse. His bond remains at $50,000, and he's been unable to come up with $5,000 cash, or 10 percent, to go free while his latest DUI charges are pending.
