Citizens Fire Academy Offered In Romeoville

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Fire Department will offer a free 10-week Citizens Fire Academy for those who want to learn more about what the fire department does.

The class will meet weekly starting Feb. 2 through March 30, according to the Village.

Applicants must be 18, and registration for Romeoville residents is already open online.

Topics of the classes will include: fire behavior, fire service tools and equipment, EMS overview, auto extrication, a day in the training tower, and CPR.Cit
